What Is an Authorized User Tradeline?

An authorized user tradeline is a credit card account where the primary cardholder adds another person as an authorized user. The authorized user does not receive a physical card or purchasing access through CreditRize, but the account may appear on the authorized user’s credit report.

What’s the Process?

Essentially, a credit card holder with perfect payment history adds you to their card. You do not get a physical card to use, but the account’s positive payment history may appear on your credit report. All cards offered through CreditRize have perfect payment history and 15% utilization or less. They generally remain active for 60–90 days unless otherwise stated.

During the time the tradeline is active, you should have a clear plan for the financial goals you are trying to achieve.

How Long Do Your Tradelines Report?

All standard tradelines are active for 60 days. Some 90-day and extended-term options may also be available. If there is a problem with the term or reporting, contact CreditRize promptly so we can review the issue.

What Happens After a Tradeline Is Removed?

After a tradeline is terminated or closed, it may continue to appear on your credit report and may continue contributing positive account history. CreditRize cannot guarantee how long it will remain or how it will affect your credit profile.

Is It Legal To Buy Tradelines?

Yes. Buying an authorized-user tradeline is legal.

How Is Our Information Protected?

Confidentiality is important for both our cardholders and clients. Customer information is used only as needed to process tradeline requests, confirm reporting, and provide assistance.

We do not tolerate individuals who attempt to misuse our services or provide false information.

How Much of an Impact Will It Have on My Credit Score?

Every credit profile is different. Tradelines may be helpful for people with limited credit history, high utilization, or an otherwise strong profile that could benefit from additional positive account history.

Results vary, and CreditRize does not guarantee a specific score increase, approval, funding decision, or financial result.

If you have a large number of collections, inquiries, late payments, charge-offs, or other negative accounts, you may want to address those items before adding a tradeline.

Do American Express Tradelines Backdate?

No, they do not.

Clients added to American Express cards generally should not expect prior account history to appear. Many customers pair an American Express tradeline with another tradeline that has established age so they can combine account age with additional credit limit.

Do Tradelines Report to All Three Bureaus?

Tradelines may report to one or more credit bureaus. Reporting coverage and timing vary by issuer and are not guaranteed.

What Happens If the Tradeline Does Not Report? When Do I Get a Refund?

If a tradeline does not report within the timeframe stated in your confirmation email, contact CreditRize and follow the non-posting instructions provided.

Refund eligibility will be reviewed according to the terms of your order.

How Frequently Is Inventory Updated?

Inventory is updated monthly. Availability may change between updates, so every selection must be confirmed by CreditRize.

Does Selecting a Tradeline Reserve It?

No. Selecting a tradeline submits an inquiry only. Availability must be confirmed before an order is finalized.
